A macro & close-up photography workshop

During this photo workshop you will learn to capture the local wild flora in a way that will rise above the standard snapshot images.  By looking at color contrast,  learn to create atmosphere in a composition, focus on details and work with different depth of field. For those who like to create more creative compositions we can look at different photography techniques and methods. The Auvergne is a paradise for wild flowers, from hillside meadows to mountain fields covered with colors. We will explore some local wetlands with rare carnivora plants and different types of cotton-grass,  not to forget the many wild Orchid species that grow in the region.

    skills or focus on one subject.
  • For the enthusiastic photographers who want to deepen their
    already used photography techniques and work on a more abstract approach.

Duration

  • From  14.00h pm till last light (if you like to shoot during sunset light this can be discussed)

What can you bring

  • Tripod
  • Collapsible reflectors (for example 3-1) or a white umbrella
  • Macro lens
  • Extension tubes
  • Old manual lenses (for example Helios,Trioplan 100mm f2.8 etc.)
  • Some ‘gardening tools’ : pin-set, garden scissor & cloves.
  • Something to sit on (garbage bag)

Reservation and payment
After a reservation you will receive a conformation e-mail with deposit and final payment details. Depending on the workshop or tour, suggestions for accommodations in the area can be sent.
